The house at Eisenbahnstraße 26 was built in 1897 as a small manufacturer's villa and completely renovated in 1993, including a thermal insulation façade.
The complex and the apartment have been well maintained over the years. The laminate flooring in the apartment was replaced in 2022.
The heating system was also converted from an old gas boiler to a new condensing gas boiler in 2022. This means that the energy consumption is lower than stated in the energy performance certificate, which is based on the old heating system and is therefore no longer up to date.
Location
Reichenbach im Vogtland - located between Plauen and Zwickau - is a medium-sized town with around 25,000 inhabitants. As a large district town, it has local authorities, a medical center with numerous specialists and all schools. The Dittes elementary school is approx. 0.5 km from the apartment, the grammar school and vocational training center approx. 1.5 km, and the Weinhold secondary school is also located in the city centre. Numerous department stores (e.g. Kaufland approx. 1.5 km and Lidl opposite) and retail stores in the city center (1.5 km) round off the offer. Three DIY stores, three petrol stations and car dealerships of almost all major brands are represented in Reichenbach as the center of the region. The Oberreichenbach outdoor swimming pool is approx. 0.5 km away.
Reichenbach has its own highway connection to the A72 at the Kaltes Feld industrial estate, a train station and a network of bus lines within the city and to the region.
