Saulheim is known for its viticulture and agriculture and is located in the heart of Rheinhessen. With around 7,600 inhabitants, it belongs to the municipality of Wörrstadt. The infrastructure is excellent. Stores for daily needs, direct producers, restaurants, ice cream parlors, service providers, doctors, pharmacies and banks are all on site. Kindergartens, day nurseries, elementary school and clubs (music, singing, sport, fire department and carnival...) with public events and festivals round off the social life.
There is a well-timed public train connection (train to Alzey, Worms and Mainz, Wiesbaden, Frankfurt). Two connections to the L 401 and the highway connection to the A 63 between the Mainz and Alzey interchanges provide road transport connections.
