It is a large, multi-storey detached house dating back to 1681 and is of course a listed building. The property is located in the Old and Hanseatic City of Lemgo, Brake district. We have lived in this property since 1992 and have renovated it during this time in cooperation with the Lower Monument Authority Lemgo in accordance with the preservation order and restored it to its very good current condition. We would like to sell this property because the children have left home and it is far too big for two people. Exterior walls with clay plaster throughout, 95% interior walls. Partial basement. Water pipes in plastic, electricity lines up to date, gas supply also, photovoltaic system possible in principle. As this is not a farmhouse but a former noble residence, you will find room heights of 2.70 m on both floors. The walls are plastered with clay and painted with chemical-free lime-casein paint. On the lower floor, some of the walls are only pre-painted in order to keep the degree of saturation of the walls low and to leave enough space for your individual wishes.
