Small fine hotel "Ratskeller"

Built around 1580 as a town hall, the building burnt down to its foundations in the town fires around 1800 and was rebuilt as a town hall around 1850. From 1907 it served as a hotel and Ratskeller, which was operated by the HO until 1990 and then renovated by a private investor (1994 and ongoing) and has been run as a hotel and restaurant with a good reputation ever since.
On the ground floor there is the Ratsstube, 2 guest rooms with bar as well as ancillary and service rooms (kitchen etc.). On the 2 upper floors there are 20 hotel rooms as double rooms or apartments with simple furnishings.
There is a certain maintenance backlog (rear roof, façade) and it makes sense to upgrade the rooms in the medium term.
The hotel is leased on a long-term basis.

The small town of Eibenstock with its 5,000 inhabitants is located between the dam and the Auersberg and forms a tourist center in the Western Ore Mountains. As early as the Middle Ages, the old mountain town was granted a town charter and thus acquired a central function in the Auersberg region.
