One half of a historic half-timbered house in the center of the Huy village of Pabstorf is available for rent as a pet- and smoke-free apartment.
Seen from the outside, the impression is somehow small and cute. This impression is deceptive, the lower floor is completely normal, the upper floor limits the height to under 1.72m and does not count as living space.
When you enter the apartment, you are amazed at how well laid out it is. A small hallway leads directly to the storage room, with enough space for a wardrobe and a necessary shoe cupboard, and access through the living room into the kitchen and shower room and up a staircase to the upper floor. There is a bright hallway. The hallway leads to a small room that can be used as a relaxation room, study, ironing room, etc. Another room is on a large slope and is not everyone's cup of tea. However, a second, very bright bathroom with a bathtub scores points. The rooms on the upper floor are well insulated, but the room height only allows for certain body dimensions.

Pabstorf has roughly the same population as the rather well-known Vatican City. Otherwise, there are certainly small differences between the neighbors of Rome and those of Huy. Nevertheless, the district of the municipality of Huy is simply worth living in. If you don't want to live far away from Helmstedt, Schöppenstedt, Halberstadt, Osterwieck or Oschersleben, this is the place for you.
