The village is situated in a flat and open valley of the Kemnitzbach, which is dammed up in the western part of the village to form the Kemnitz dam.
Geographically and in terms of transportation, the village is located approximately between Hof and Plauen. Oelsnitz is also not far away.
The village is connected to Weischlitz and Plauen by the RufBus line 47 of the Vogtland transport association.
Otherwise, a vehicle is required to explore the rural area and to reach the surrounding cities such as Plauen and Hof. By vehicle, you can reach the GLOBUS shopping center with a wide range of goods and services in fifteen minutes, as well as the Pirk exit of the BAB 72 freeway.
