The rental object is a "furnished room with shared bathroom and shared kitchen" in the Campus Baden student residence. Campus Baden has a total of 25 differently furnished room types and room sizes (~ 18 m² to ~ 45 m²). Applications are only welcome from prospective or already enrolled students - no renting to non-students possible! Our temporary tenancy agreements (fully furnished student rooms) are exclusively subject to the provisions of §§ 549 para. 3 in conjunction with 551 para. 3 sentence 5 BGB (living space in student halls of residence).

Living in Weingarten (Baden) A Portrait:

The municipality of Weingarten (Baden), with a population of about 10,500, is located at the foot of the Kraichgau hills leading to the Rhine plain. Weingarten's landmark is the Wartturm, built in 1589 and visible from afar. In addition to the tower, the two churches standing together, the Tulla Bridge built in 1823, which is considered a technical monument today, and the Walk'sche half-timbered house rebuilt in 1701 with centuries-old beams characterize the center of the village. The area of the village is 2937 ha. One third of this area is forest. Between 1950 and 1960 24 resettled farms were established. Viticulture is practiced as a special crop. On about 100 hectares mainly the varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Blanc, Ruländer, Silvaner and Müller-Thurgau are planted. Marketing is carried out by the winegrowers' cooperative Weingarten (Baden) and the Schäfer winery. The economic focus of the community is on the more than 2000 jobs, of which about 1100 are offered in the wood, chemical, metal and paper industries. For local recreation, there is a wine and forest nature trail, two bird clubs with bird aviaries and animal enclosures, and an extensive network of biking and hiking trails. The Weingartener Moor (nature reserve), as a remnant of a swamp landscape in the Kinzig-Murg channel, is well known to nature lovers. Visitors interested in art history and culture should visit the historic town center with its stylish half-timbered houses, which is worth preserving. Civic commitment is written in capital letters in Weingarten. More than 70 cultural and sports clubs offer a diverse program of events and the opportunity to get involved.
