The village of Harpstedt is located in the district of Oldenburg in the "Wildeshauser Geest" recreational area and has around 4800 inhabitants. The town offers shopping facilities for daily needs. Bremen and Oldenburg are easily and quickly accessible. The federal highways 51, 213 and 57 can be reached quickly and the A1 highway is only a few minutes away from Harpstedt. From Bremen it is a quick train ride to the Hanover junction with all its possibilities. There is a kindergarten, schools and a very nice outdoor pool in the municipality. There are doctors on site and a lively club life in the joint municipality.
