Description of building type:
Granaries were the most important infrastructure facility for the population in Germany in the 16th-19th centuries. The town's grain supplies were stored here. The few buildings still preserved in Germany are often in a comparatively good state of preservation due to their floor plans, their use-specific dimensions and their heavily dimensioned outer walls (sales object on the ground floor approx. 0.75 m).
The granary in Waldheim is one of the last granaries on the market that has not yet been renovated.
