Stadtallendorf is connected to local public transport by the Frankfurt - Marburg - Kassel railroad line (Main-Weser-Bahn). From December 11, 2016, up to 12 intercity trains on the IC line Stralsund-Hamburg-Frankfurt-Karlsruhe will stop in Stadtallendorf every day.
