We were the first owners of the apartment. It's a great, small community of owners. There are a total of 15 apartments in the house and the rear building. The families and especially the children like to meet in the communal garden to play together.
Our apartment is on the 4th floor of the front building. It is accessible via an elevator, as are the cellar and underground parking space. The apartment has a partially open-plan living area. The kitchen and living room are connected via two parallel doors. Connected to the living room is the west-facing balcony with a wonderful view over the surrounding rooftops, as the rear buildings only have 3 upper floors. There are also two west-facing rooms at the rear of the apartment and a third room facing east. This has a directly adjoining en-suite daylight bathroom with bathtub. The second bathroom is inside and equipped with a shower and washing machine connection. The interior storage room and niches between the kitchen and living room, in which 60 cm deep Pax wardrobes fit, are also super practical - so there is plenty of potential storage space.
Overall, the apartment is very bright due to the height. The location on Dietzgenstraße is super practical, as the M1 streetcar stop and an Aldi supermarket are right on the doorstep. The windows facing the street are quadruple-glazed, the windows facing the garden are triple-glazed. There is plenty of space in front of the house for loading and unloading and the foyer behind the front door is also very spacious. Adjacent to this is a baby carriage room, which also has space for bicycles and garden toys. There is a separate bicycle storage room and parking spaces in the courtyard. Each residential unit has its own cellar compartment.

Location
Niederschönhausen is a very family-friendly part of Pankow. It is beautifully green here. Brosepark is just around the corner and not far away are Schloßpark and Bürgerpark as well as the beautiful Schönholzer Heide a little further away.
Great events take place in front of the palace in the palace park throughout the year, for example a Christmas market in winter, art festival in summer and regular musical events. The small garden café Sommerlust is also open here from March to November.
Niederschönhausen also has numerous daycare centers, elementary school and several secondary schools in the Pankow district. There are plenty of supermarkets, including an organic market and Rossman, and many are within walking distance.
The connection to the city is perfect via the M1, which departs right outside the front door every 15 minutes and takes a good half hour to Hackescher Markt. The U2 and various S-Bahn lines also run from Pankow S-Bahn station. It is also very easy to commute here by bike through the Schloßpark and change to public transport.
