Conditions for purchase:

- Building plots are only sold to private individuals
- Purchasers undertake to construct a residential building ready for occupancy within a period of 4 years after notarization of the notarial contract in accordance with the provisions of the development plan
- Purchasers undertake to occupy the residential building to be constructed themselves for a period of at least 4 years within one year of completion.
Alternatively, these may also be first-degree family members, provided that this does not circumvent any award criteria.

The land purchase prices are 89.00 euros/m² (upper row, nos. 13 to 21) and 99.00 euros/m² (lower row, nos. 1 to 12) incl. development contribution for road construction. However, there are other costs such as land transfer tax or notary and land registry fees. The purchase price does not include the house connection costs for the utility connections (e.g. building cost subsidies for water, electricity, sewage, broadband/telephone). These costs will be charged to the purchasers of the building plot by the respective utility companies (such as Wasserverband Treene, Wittbek) in addition to the purchase price of the plot.

The climatic health resort of Schwabstedt (1,325 inhabitants as of 30/09/2015) is idyllically situated on the Treene river and looks back on a long and eventful history. The first settlement took place around 5000 years ago. Schwabstedt was the seat of a bishop from around 1268 to 1700 and the Treene was an important trade route by water at that time. Theodor Storm dedicated two novellas to the village, namely "Renate" and "Zur Wald- und Wasserfreude".

Schwabstedt has a central function for the surrounding parish villages; an intact infrastructure provides all services, trade and commerce for the basic needs of the population. Two retirement homes, a kindergarten, elementary school and apartments for young people round off the needs.

Schwabstedt offers an excellent quality of life thanks to its wonderful location on the Treene. The Lehmsieker Gehölz, the nature reserve "Wilde Moor", many cycling and hiking trails, the outdoor river pool and the Treene itself allow locals and guests to relax and enjoy nature.
