Location
The property is located in Kochel am See and that is to be taken literally in this case! Not just on the lake but directly on the lake! In the immediate vicinity (100 m) of the apartment there are bus lines to Garmisch (Walchensee) and to the train station in Kochel am See. Opposite the property is the first-class Hotel Grauer Bär with its excellent restaurant and lakeside terrace. The famous artists of the Blauer Reiter group of painters met and painted in the immediate vicinity. Their paintings can be admired in museums within walking distance. Further afield you will also find several shopping facilities, schools and a kindergarten. A cinema, good medical care and numerous recreational and sports facilities are also within easy reach. Local public transport is part of the MVV fare network and an hourly train connection to Munich is perfect for enjoying nature without a car. If you use a car, there is a parking space at the house if required (+30€).
