THE BUILDING: A listed red-brick ensemble from 1926.
The listed building was built by the architects Berg and Paasche, has a full basement and consists of a total of 231 apartments as well as several commercial units, which are spread over entrances in Schlankreye, the adjacent Heymannstraße and Bogenstraße. The residential building has a predominantly traditionalist design, and the original entrance doors with expressionist ceramic decorations are particularly beautiful.
In the quiet and green inner courtyard there are parking spaces, bicycle stands and a kindergarten. The entire complex is well-kept and all front gardens have dense hedges.
The owners' association has carried out and completed extensive renovation work on the roofs and facades over the last 10 years. Further measures are currently being carried out in the area of building services and staircase renovation. This is being financed by a currently increased allocation to reserves.
Please note: The house rent of EUR 456 per month is made up of the housing allowance (ongoing ancillary costs) of EUR 135 per month plus the maintenance reserve of EUR 321 per month. The reserve payment will be greatly reduced after the end of the renovations in around 2027.
