The property is located in the town of Teltow, which borders the Berlin districts of Lichterfelde and Zehlendorf to the southwest. With around 27,000 inhabitants, Teltow is also the most populous town in the Brandenburg district of Potsdam-Mittelmark. The Teltow Canal to the north, together with the new "Marina Teltow" marina, forms the town's border with Berlin.
