Mönchengladbach (approx. 260,000 inhabitants) is located about 25 km northwest of Düsseldorf, the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia. The city is connected to the national rail network via two main train stations in Rheydt and Mönchengladbach and even has ICE and IC trains to Berlin. There are numerous bus routes on the public transport network (VRR). There is a bus stop approx. 250 m from the property with a short connection to the main train station (also easily accessible via the footpath behind the apartments). The federal highways 57, 59 and 230 run through the city. Düsseldorf International Airport is very well connected. All types of schools, including the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, are available, and there is a kindergarten and elementary school in the immediate vicinity of the property. Stores for daily needs are within walking distance; Lidl is approx. 1 km away, Aldi is approx. 600 m away and a Real supermarket is approx. 1 km away. There are also numerous pedestrian zones, galleries, arcades and weekly markets. As a former stronghold of the textile industry, you will still find a wide and interesting range of fashion today.
