Location
The Bundesstraße 1 / 5 connects Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf to the east with Küstrin in Poland and Frankfurt (Oder), and to the west with Berlin. The state road L 30 between Altlandsberg and Rüdersdorf crosses the municipal area in a north-south direction. The Berlin-Hellersdorf freeway junction of the A 10 (eastern Berlin ring road) is located around four kilometers southwest of the town center.
Fredersdorf (b Berlin) station on the Prussian Eastern Railway is served by the S5 line of the Berlin S-Bahn from Berlin-Spandau to Strausberg Nord. Passenger services on the Fredersdorf-Rüdersdorf line, which branched off here, have been discontinued since 1965.
The district of Vogelsdorf is served by bus route 951 operated by Busverkehr Märkisch-Oderland GmbH.
The Multicenter in Vogelsdorf is an important retail location. Among others, branches of Möbel Kraft, Hornbach, Kaufland and Aldi Nord are located here.
