There are numerous opportunities for leisure activities here, such as hiking, mountain biking, ski touring, skiing and excursions of all kinds. The modern and lively university town is the cultural and economic center of the entire region. Conveniently located directly at the intersection of the A 3 and A 92 highways, Deggendorf has a large catchment area and within a 30-45 minute drive you can reach Cham, Dingolfing, Landau, Landshut, Passau, Pfarrkirchen, Regen, Regensburg, Straubing and Zwiesel.
The second largest airport in Germany - Munich Airport "Franz Josef Strauß" - is only about an hour's drive away by car.
The house itself is very close to the city. The old town and stores for daily needs as well as pharmacies, doctors' surgeries and restaurants can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. The primary and secondary schools and secondary schools can be reached in 5 minutes. The hospital (DONAUISAR Klinikum Deggendorf) can also be reached in a few minutes. There is also a bus stop for the city bus line in the immediate vicinity of the house.
