Due to the solid construction and the heat generation by means of an air heat pump, there is no long-term need for renovation due to the GEG. The heating system has of course been serviced annually, the outdoor unit was only replaced a few years ago due to a warranty claim.

The vacation resort of Steffenshagen, less than 5 km from the Baltic Sea, is located in the district of Rostock near Bad Doberan in a very quiet and idyllic location.
There is a bakery in the immediate vicinity and a farm store is also within walking distance.
