When I bought this detached house many years ago, I knew immediately after viewing it that this was my new home.
Living right on the water (a footpath separates the property from the Oder-Havel Canal) and having a huge swimming pool on the doorstep in summer appealed to me.
From the large terrace (at the same level as the canal, by the way), you can look directly at the passing ships.
Due to the unique location, the view from the terrace is something for the soul and you feel like you're on vacation after work.
On one side of the property (771 m² plot size) is the canal, on the border to the garden, the forest and only one nice neighbor who does not disturb.
Here children can still play on the street "Hopse" and learn to ride a bike, as there is no through traffic.
A quiet street where there is still the kind of neighborhood you want.

The house is located in the Clara-Zetkin-Siedlung in Eberswalde and can be reached from Berlin main station to Eberswalde in 35 minutes by train. From here it is 25 minutes by car to Berlin - Pankow.
I have changed my life plans and this is the only reason why I am offering this house for sale. This is not a distress sale and time does not play a role for me.
It is being sold from private to private and there are no estate agent fees.
The other advantages and refinements that this house undoubtedly has can certainly be explained in great detail. But I don't want to do that because there are things that cannot be discussed on the Internet.
