Part of the art campus of the Halle University of Art has been located on its grounds since 1919. House number 18 on Mozartstraße is a very quiet address, directly opposite the rear of the Natural History Museum.

The Volkspark, as well as other parks and the Saale river, are less than 500 m away on foot.
