The grammar school in Miesbach can be reached by train and the grammar school in Tegernsee by bus. There is a train station (BRB) in Schliersee and in Neuhaus with connections to Munich and Bayrischzell. There are also numerous doctors and pharmacies in the town centers of Schliersee and Neuhaus. Restaurants, bakeries and cafés as well as various shopping facilities are also located in the village.
The district of Miesbach offers year-round sports and leisure activities right on the doorstep. The Spitzingsee and Sudelfeld ski areas are easily accessible by car and bus in the immediate vicinity.
