The house and the adjoining barn from 1900 were completely renovated in 2015 with great attention to detail and to a high professional standard. With a population of just under 1,200, Volxheim is a quiet village which is nevertheless relatively close to the center of Bad Kreuznach with its 7-kilometer southeastern location. Many old houses in Volxheim have been restored in recent years. The historic town center is an attraction for tourists and artists. Notable buildings include the two churches, the Keim house and the old school building. Thanks to Volxheim's convenient location, you can reach the highway in less than 10 minutes. Mainz is 44 km away, Frankfurt 85 km. By bus - located in the city bus area of KH - or train you also have a direct connection to Mainz and Alzey. Volxheim has several industrial employers in the town, as well as a kindergarten. There are many sports clubs, a sports hall, a sports field, a voluntary fire department and several wineries. There are also numerous events throughout the year in this village.
