Vacation home, weekend house on the Flensburg Fjord

- The carport was built in 2009. The large storage room 3.00m x 2.75m (frost-free) was built on a solid concrete foundation.

Alteration and renovation work on the house:

The roof was re-insulated and re-roofed a few years ago (sheet metal roof panels with a tiled look).
In 2008, a non-load-bearing wall was removed in the entrance area. (The three installed wooden beams (photo) have no load-bearing function. They were used to fix a sliding door).
In 2008, two Velux skylights were installed in the living room.
In 2008, the windows next to the front door were replaced.
The front door was replaced in 2020.
2023 the skylight in the bathroom was replaced.

In need of repair:

Unfortunately, the wood-burning stove may no longer be used in accordance with the 1st BImSchV regulation.
In order to operate a new wood-burning stove, it would have to be refurbished accordingly.

Energy:

According to the Building Energy Act (GEG) § 2, an energy certificate is not required for weekend and vacation homes.
The living area was heated with the electric night storage heater, the wood-burning stove
and more recently with a mobile gas stove.
In the bathroom there is a permanently installed electric fan heater with sufficient heat output.
An electric infrared radiator in the bedroom.
