The Steimker Berg:
The Staimker Berg, on which the house is located, is the first district to be built on after the city of Wolfsburg was founded, is a listed building and still has the characteristic architecture of the 1940s.
Construction of the estate began in October 1938 and the first tenants moved into their apartments just one year later. The entire district was built in the middle of a wooded area according to the specifications of garden and landscape designer Wilhelm Heintz. Even today, Steimker Berg is characterized by its old trees and the streets are named after tree species.
