It is located in the Unterbilk district, directly next to the Bilk church in the charming Loretto quarter and is a beautiful brick building with an impressive, ornate façade.
After many years of vacancy and neglect, we took on the challenge of saving this historic building from decay.
With great care and attention to detail, it was renovated and modernized in line with its listed status. Today, it shines in new splendor and houses five unique, age-appropriate apartments.
These apartments, all of which will remain in our own portfolio and be rented out, offer modern living comfort in a historic ambience. We are proud to have preserved this architectural gem and breathed new life into it.
The historic fabric of the building has been preserved as far as possible. Not only the exterior facades, but also the interior of the building shines in new splendor. Doors, door frames, the staircase including the flooring, the wooden floorboards in the apartments and the stucco on the ceilings were painstakingly restored with great attention to detail.

Access to the building is via the main entrance door on the street side. There is also an additional entrance to the building. To ensure barrier-free access, an elevator was installed on the courtyard side that serves all five floors.
This elevator is connected to the new balcony system so that all floors can be reached easily and without thresholds. The elevator travels directly to the respective floor with the appropriate authorization and opens directly onto the terraces of the apartments. There are also bicycle parking spaces on the courtyard side, which are housed in a lockable metal cage and have charging facilities for e-bikes.
There are no parking spaces for cars. The central, inner-city location of the building is intended to encourage residents to use bicycles and public transport. There is a utility room in the basement and a storage room for each apartment.
The property also has a unique energy concept. A water-to-water heat pump ensures that the building is state of the art in terms of energy. Even the old cast-iron radiators have been retained, allowing modern technology to blend in with the old charm.
The apartment has a fitted kitchen, which is included in the rent.
