The nearest supermarket is a 5-minute walk away, as is the nearest bus stop. The S-Bahn stop Neanderthal (S28, Kaarst, Neuss, Düsseldorf, Wuppertal) can be reached by bike in 5 minutes.
For motorists it takes 8 minutes to the Mettmann exit on the A3, the A46 can be reached within 13 minutes.
The Herrenhauser Straße elementary school and the KHG are a 15-minute walk away.
