It was probably built at the end of the 19th century as a three-family house. However, it has been used as a single-family house for some time now.
A spacious, open-plan living area was created on the first floor by exposing the half-timbering. The living room leads to the large terrace, which is separated from the neighboring property by privacy screens and trellis elements, and to the kitchen. The entrance hall or hallway leads to a WC.
The partition wall on the 1st floor has also been removed. As on the ground floor, there are 1 1/2 rooms here, which could easily be separated again using the drywall method. The south room leads to a chamber, the former kitchen room, in which a kitchen could also be installed again. There is also a WC in the entrance area of the former 2-room apartment.
The 2nd floor was converted into a maisonette with the attic at the end of the 1980s. The bathroom with double washbasin, bathtub and WC is located in the former kitchen on the 2nd floor. The two "original rooms" and another separate WC are still located here. The staircase takes you to the top floor with a large open room with exposed beams and a kitchen room that can be used as a utility room or into which a kitchen can be installed again. From the balcony up here you have a beautiful view of the Neckar valley.
The house has a full basement, partly with a vaulted ceiling.

Information on equipment
The house was probably largely renovated and insulated at the end of the 1980s and subsequently modernized on an ongoing basis. The rooms all have parquet flooring, while the kitchen and bathroom are tiled. A gas condensing boiler and some new radiators were installed in 2015. The wood-burning stove can also be used in the living and dining area. There is a simple fitted kitchen and the refrigerator draws its electricity from the small photovoltaic system. The room height is relatively low at approx. 2.10 meters, typical for such an old building.
Location
The apartment building is located in Großglocknerstraße in the center of Untertürkheim, a district of Stuttgart, east of the city center, between the Neckar River and the vineyards with the famous burial chapel on the Rotenberg.
In 10 minutes by S-Bahn you can reach not only the center of Stuttgart, but also the medieval town of Esslingen.
Directly opposite is a small green area with a playground.
