In summer, the drinking water is heated by the 13 MWh solar thermal system, which is used to support the heating system during the transitional period. The PV system is designed for self-consumption and feeds the emergency power supply in the event of a power failure.
In a secluded location in the heart of the Rhön, at an altitude of 700m between Wasserkuppe and Kreuzberg in the middle of the forest, conveniently located with parking spaces and a bus stop right next to the house, surrounded by numerous hiking routes and the European cycle path.
Inconspicuous from the outside, the 1 hectare site is largely secluded and has a professionally equipped barbecue hut, wellness area with sunbathing lawn, pool, sauna and fitness hut.
The large vacation apartment and dormitory can currently accommodate up to 18 guests.
There is a stable, henhouse, garden and greenhouse, dog kennel, workshop, butchering room (prepared), cold store, tractor garage and 4 car garages for self-catering or hunting.
