Fantastic equestrian estate on the Flensburg Fjord

Welcome to our fantastic equestrian estate near the Flensburg Fjord. The historic thatched roof house with energy class A10 is complemented by a large stable building.

The house has a spacious south-facing terrace with a view of the numerous fruit trees, which together with the old deciduous trees and the lovingly laid out beds create a park-like ambience.

The large gravel courtyard and the open carport, together with the thatched house, emphasize the stately impression.

The stable building offers space for 5 boxes, unless you want to use the spacious open stable exclusively. A solar system is installed on the stable building, which greatly reduces electricity costs.

Directly adjacent to the stable are the approx. 2 hectares of pasture, part of which is designed as a round pen and paved with paddock mats and sand. Overall, the pasture is divided into several larger and smaller sections to allow the horses to graze gently and make haylage for the winter.

The riding arena has been newly refurbished and makes every rider's heart beat faster.

From the HWR, you enter the stylish kitchen, from which you have a wonderful view of the inner courtyard and over the willows. At the other end, a door leads into a room containing the geothermal heating system and plenty of storage space.

One of the many original 18th century doors leads from the kitchen into the living/dining area. The room is flooded with light from morning to night thanks to the numerous windows. The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by the large wood-burning stove and the light floorboards. From the sofa you can enjoy a fantastic sunset in the evening.

The living/dining area is adjoined by an open conservatory with access to the terrace. The "drawing room" was the preferred workplace of the previous owner when he needed inspiration for his work as an architect.

The historic wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, where the "Altan" is located in the middle, an open area for a second living room, for example. From here you have a fantastic view over the pastures to the adjacent forest. There are two spacious rooms on either side, one of which is currently furnished as an office and the other as a guest room with a bunk bed.

A further room is available as an extension reserve, e.g. for another bathroom.

Kobberholm is beautifully nestled in the hilly and wooded landscape around the Flensburg Fjord.

Gråsten (Gravenstein) with all shopping facilities and doctors is only 3 kilometers away. The hiking trails along the numerous coastlines invite you to go on extensive cycling and hiking tours and offer fantastic views of the Baltic Sea, the numerous islands and the Flensburg Fjord. At both ends of the fjord are Flensburg (25 minutes away) and Sønderburg (15 minutes away), two very attractive towns with a great harbor atmosphere and a cozy city center that invite you to visit and linger.

The proximity to Germany and the shared history has left its mark on the area and the intensive exchange makes it very easy for Germans to gain a foothold here.
