Location
Langerwehe is conveniently located between Düren and Eschweiler, on the Cologne-Aachen railway line and on the B264. Langerwehe train station is 1.9 km away and can be reached in 3 minutes by car or 6 minutes by bike.
The A4 highway exit and slip road can be reached in a few minutes.
The district of Jüngersdorf borders directly on the North Eifel Nature Park. The municipality of Langerwehe is also known for its pottery and an interesting pottery museum.
There are 5 kindergartens in Langerwehe, a Catholic elementary school (Wehebachschule), the Martinus elementary school in Schlich and the comprehensive school in Langerwehe with around 1400 pupils.
