The house is located in the Feldkirchen district of Neuwied. Feldkirchen has several kindergartens, an elementary school, the Landesblindenschule and the FSP Sprache - Förderschule. The town has doctors, pharmacies, banks, restaurants and stores for everyday needs.
Secondary schools can be found in the neighboring districts and in Neuwied city center.

Feldkirchen has good transport connections. It takes around 15 minutes to get to Neuwied city center by public transport. The direct connection to the B42 takes you to Bonn and Cologne, as well as to the A3 and A48.
