This house has history. Our grandparents invested in "Parcel 80 of the Hohenrade estate" in 1936, on which the house was completed in 1937. Over 30 years later, our father was lucky enough to outbid his 3 siblings at the dice for the house. So we four sisters were able to grow up here in a beautiful, green and yet central environment.
The house is tucked away behind an ingrown front garden, so you can linger here comfortably in summer. In the entrance area, there are large, high-quality built-in wardrobes that offer plenty of space, not just for jackets and shoes. The hallway looks directly into the kitchen and the large garden. The kitchen is equipped with an older, but timeless and high-quality fitted kitchen. The two adjoining living rooms merge into one another, creating a bright, cozy and spacious feel. We have already exposed the old floorboards in two rooms on the upper floor. Now it's down to the cellar: this was elaborately lowered in 1970 and laid with a fine parquet floor (now in need of some care). From here you can access the large terrace and the garden at ground level, which has a large swing, a massive, adjustable horizontal bar and lots of fruit trees and shrubs. Although the house and garden require a lot of attention, they also offer various expansion and extension possibilities, a friendly neighborhood and simply a beautiful, friendly home.
According to the energy performance certificate, the house currently has energy efficiency class G. This is due to the fact that we have no documentation on some construction measures. For example, blown-in insulation on the first floor from 2017 is not included.

Our house is located in a traffic-calmed one-way street in the Wik. We have taken many walks in the neighboring Tannenberger Gehölz to greet the wild boars, fallow deer and mouflons. By bike, you can quickly reach the Kiellinie, the canal and the Holtenau outdoor pool. As a Kiel resident, you can of course also get to the beach quickly - this is also easy to do by bike, even if you have to cycle up the high bridge first. Supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants are all within walking distance. There are many daycare centers and schools as well as sports clubs for families. Kiel city center can be reached quickly by bus or car and if you also choose to cycle, you have the beautiful path along the Kiellinie with a view of the fjord and (when it is in Kiel) past the Gorch Fock!
