Here in Alanya you will find a vibrant but still manageable city of around 364,000 inhabitants, which is wonderfully situated by the sea with wide promenades and countless stores and restaurants.
Alanya is also currently home to around 20,000 Germans, who particularly appreciate the friendliness of the people, the mild and sunny climate and the wide range of cultural activities on offer, as well as the extremely affordable prices.
Antalya International Airport is only 116 km away and flies non-stop to all major German cities between 3.05 and 3.35 - and all flights are very reasonably priced.
The regional airport Gazipasa is only 52 km away and flies mainly to destinations within Turkey.
The well-known picturesque seaside resort of Side with its impressive ancient backdrop right by the sea and overwhelming flair is only 54 km and 45 minutes away by car.
Cyprus (which can generally only be reached by ferry from Turkey) can also be easily reached via the ferry port of Tasucu, which is only 245 km away.
The part of Konakli by the sea, where the penthouse is located, has the invaluable advantage that the otherwise omnipresent 4-lane coastal road does not pass between the beach and the residential complex, as it does almost everywhere else. For the occasion: Beirut (Lebanon) is over 1,000 km and two national borders away (only slightly shorter than the distance between Berlin and Kiev) - here you feel absolutely nothing of this distant conflict.
