The house has been in the seller's family since the 1930s. In 1959, the former half-timbered exterior walls were replaced with conventional masonry. The partition walls and storey ceilings were retained in half-timbered construction.

Delkenheim is a district of the state capital Wiesbaden with approx. 5000 inhabitants on the edge of the Main-Taunus district (to which it belonged until 1977).
