The Rücker family bought the estate as a farm over 80 years ago. What began as a "Gutsschenke" in the 1950s developed into one of the most sought-after addresses in the region following its expansion into a hotel-restaurant.
The two main restaurants offer space for 100 guests and are complemented by the cozy "Obere and Untere Bauernstub", which are located in the oldest part of the building. The foundation walls and the wine cellar are first mentioned in the Lorsch Codex in 1200.
