Location
Saulheim is located around 20 km south of Mainz and is a beautiful wine-growing community in the heart of Rheinhessen.
Saulheim has around 8000 inhabitants and has a good infrastructure. There are many shopping facilities as well as a good range of leisure activities with many clubs and restaurants. There are plenty of banks, pharmacies and doctors in Saulheim.
There is an elementary school on site and kindergartens are also within walking distance. Secondary schools such as the IGS in Wörrstadt (4 km) and the grammar schools in Nieder-Olm (6 km) or Alzey (17 km) can be easily reached by train, which runs every half hour between Alzey and Mainz.
It is only approx. 5 km to the A63 highway junction, 14 km to Mainz, approx. 25 km to Wiesbaden and approx. 40 km to Frankfurter Kreuz.
