The­ house was built in 1965 in solid construction, in 1975 an extension was added which is today's living room. The roof is made of clay tiles and was insulated around 2000 and the facade and ceilings were insulated with single-balcony insulation around 2002.
The rest of the house was also renovated around the 2000s, new water pipes, new electrics (except for an older fuse box)
When we bought the house in 2018, we renovated or refurbished a few things in the following years.

The house is located in Beckedorf in a side street. It is a 10-minute walk to the elementary school or kindergarten, and all the usual supermarkets can be reached by car in about 5 minutes. Doctors etc. are well covered by the surrounding area and can also be reached quickly. Beckedorf itself is a very quiet place, which also invites you to go for walks with or without your dog. The A 27 highway or Schwanewede exit can be reached by car in approx. 7 minutes.
