Bruckmühl and its recreational value
The market town of Bruckmühl has a population of approx. 17,500. There is an open-air swimming pool, primary, middle, secondary and grammar schools, various daycare centers, a shopping center approx. 900 m away, various sports and playgrounds, various sports clubs, adult education center, Mangfall recreation area. Within a radius of approx. 10-20 km there are:
Simsee, Hofstätter See, nature reserves, Schwarzenberg, Breitenberg, Saalwand, Wendelstein, Heuberg, Kranzhorn, Sudelfeld ski area etc. There are practically no limits to mountain hiking, cycling and mountain biking. The winter sports areas in Tyrol, such as Skiwelt, Kitzski and Zillertal-Arena, can also be reached by car in approx. 30 to 60 minutes.
Lake Chiemsee is approx. 30 km away with all the usual water sports facilities and the Chiemgau vacation region with a wide range of recreational and cultural activities.
