If you want to get around by public transport, take the 62 bus towards Ostbahnhof/Haidhausen or towards Viktualienmarkt/Marienplatz - less than 10 minutes to both destinations. Or you can walk to the nearest Isarbrücke bridge and take one of the subway trains at the Fraunhofer Straße stop.
