The partially furnished apartment is 89 square meters in size and is located on the first floor of a 100-year-old Bavarian residential building. There is a shared kitchen with fitted kitchen (incl. appliances), a shared bathroom with washing machine, a separate WC and a total of 4 shared rooms. The house is located in the historic center of Herrsching, directly on the pilgrimage route to Andechs Monastery. Lake Ammersee is just a few minutes' walk away. There are pedal boat, SUP and windsurfing rentals, several cycling and hiking trails and, of course, a number of ice cream parlors waiting to be explored. The nationally renowned footpath to Andechs through the Kiental valley starts right on the doorstep.

The S-Bahn line S8 (Herrsching stop) can be reached on foot in 12 minutes. There are several bus lines within walking distance. Various stores (Edeka, organic food store, bakery, stationery, clothes, pharmacy etc.) and several restaurants (pub, pizzeria) as well as a bar are within walking distance. An industrial area with a beverage market, drugstore, DIY store, car repair shop etc. can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.
