In the nearby town of Werneuchen there are various facilities such as a pharmacy, discount grocery store, general practitioner, kindergarten, elementary school, European school and the sports-oriented secondary school. From Werneuchen you can reach Berlin-Ostkreuz station in just 33 minutes on the RB25.
You will also find many beautiful sights and interesting buildings in Werneuchen. These include the neo-Gothic town church of St. Michael, the Catholic parish church of St. Josef, Werneuchen Castle and the Hirschfelde manor.
