36205 Sontra – HessenWe are selling our bungalow in Sontra, which was completely and energetically renovated in 2020. Sontra now has a highway connection to the A44 and offers a high recreational value. Local suppliers, doctors, pharmacy, optician, DIY store, etc. are on site. School up to the Abitur and a beautiful outdoor swimming pool.
The house itself has been completely renovated, all electrical and water pipes have been renewed, it is tiled throughout with large-format porcelain stoneware and has underfloor heating everywhere. All walls have been newly plastered, wallpapered and painted with organic silicate paint. The ceilings have been suspended and most of them have been fitted with recessed LED lights. Not only has every single euro been invested in the house, but also a great deal of attention to detail.
Both bathrooms have been renovated, with a huge feel-good oasis with walk-in shower, bathtub and bidet in the upper bathroom and another shower room with wash toilet and sauna in the basement.
New triple-glazed windows, sun protection blinds and electrically controlled shutters have been installed. These can be controlled via an app, as can the existing alarm system. The house has an 8 kilowatt PV system with an equally large storage tank, an oil condensing heating system and a decalcification system. Both entrance doors are also new, and the lower floor can be planned as a granny apartment.
The floor slab and the attic were insulated with 20 cm of insulation and the attic is accessible.
The outside area was renovated, creating three parking spaces in front of the house, and the garden was largely redesigned and planted with high-quality plants. A new terrace was also created, with sliding privacy screens to the neighbors. The large living/dining area has a soapstone stove and floor-to-ceiling windows with access to the large balcony with a wonderful view of the greenery.
The fitted kitchen has mostly new appliances, such as a large induction hob.
A fiber optic connection is already in the house.
