There are direct connections to Cologne and Düsseldorf airports. Drivers can reach the Kerpen freeway junction (A4-A61) after a few kilometers. An additional highway connection (A4) is under construction between Horrem and Königsdorf and will significantly reduce the travel time to Cologne.

Personal comment:
We bought this house in 1991 as a young family with two small children. Our children grew up happily there and moved out in 2013. As the house became too big for us, we rented it out from 2013. We are now retired and will be selling it completely. The middle-class neighborhood consists of families, couples, singles and pensioners. They are always nice and helpful. We have never had any negative experiences and still maintain friendships with the neighbors.
The house has been constantly renovated. Renovation work and gardening are necessary after the last tenant has handed over.
We are selling this house without the involvement of an estate agent in order to save the commission as it is not necessary (7.14% at €387k = €28k). Buyers/sellers can also choose their own notary to draw up the contract and deal with the authorities.
