The building is centrally located in Furth (only 150 m from the Further town square) and is not a listed building. Other houses are lined up to the right and left. Lorenz-Zierl-Straße, which runs past the house (historically one of Furth's first streets), was converted from a two-way street to a one-way street with wide sidewalks in 2024, meaning that a considerable reduction in traffic can be expected.
The expansion of the stream bed of the Kalten Pastritz opposite and the redesign of Hofer Island (new planting of approx. 30 trees) and the church square, which are only 100 m away, make the location of the house even more attractive.
The house would be available immediately by arrangement, all units are not rented and due to its central location in Furth also in view of the currently very favorable regional development (expansion of infrastructure, tourism development "Bavarian Forest", Drachenstich as intangible cultural heritage, Drachensee, Landesgartenschau 2025) a very interesting property. Location
Furth im Wald has a wonderful small-town atmosphere. Due to its location between the Upper Palatinate and Bavarian Forest, the picturesque town is surrounded by a wonderful landscape and offers many leisure activities in all seasons.
Thanks to the well-considered expansion of the road infrastructure, long-distance traffic has been routed around the town, making it an important hub to the Czech Republic due to its proximity to the Česká Kubice border crossing.
The State Garden Show to be held in Furth in 2025 is expected to raise Furth's profile as a tourist destination. The urban development projects initiated as part of the State Garden Show are beautifying Furth on an almost daily basis and making it an even more liveable town.
