The lively town of Olching in the Upper Bavarian district of Fürstenfeldbruck continues to grow and now has around 28,000 inhabitants. The town is located roughly halfway between Dachau and Fürstenfeldbruck, to the west of the state capital on the Munich-Augsburg railroad line. Olching can be reached quickly thanks to its excellent transport links to the A8 and the fact that Munich is only about 20 kilometers away. Franz-Josef-Strauß Airport can be reached in approx. 40 minutes via the highway. The town center can be reached on foot in approx. 10 minutes.
