Harlaching is one of the most prestigious and exclusive residential areas in Munich. The sought-after residential area is located in the southeast and is nestled close to nature between the high banks of the Isar, the vast woodlands of the Perlacher Forest and Hellabrunn Zoo.
Location:
The property/multi-family house is located in a small residential side street surrounded by mature trees and lots of greenery. Location not far from the "Großhesseloher Brücke" on the high bank of the Isar ("Hochleite"), with a few minutes walk to the Isarauen, a few minutes cycle path to the beer garden "WaWi" Waldwirtschaft Großhesselohe and to the Menterschwaige estate and a few minutes walk to the streetcar stop "Schilcherweg" (TRAM 25). After a short ride (11 minutes according to the timetable) you will reach Wettersteinplatz (U1). There is a very good connection to the Munich S-Bahn and U-Bahn network (U1, journey time to the main station is less than 10 minutes according to the timetable). The scheduled journey time to Munich Central Station is less than 1/2 hour, to Marienplatz approx. 30 minutes and to Munich Airport approx. 1 hour.
Private transportation:
Good connections via Geiselgasteigstraße and Grünwalder Str. to the "Mittlerer Ring" (approx. 4.6 km) and on to the city center (approx. 3.5 km). The journey time to the city center is approx. 15-20 minutes in normal traffic. The A8 or A95 can also be easily reached via ring roads and arterial roads. In the neighboring residential suburb of Grünwald, you can reach the market square (center) by car in approx. 8 minutes.
Infrastructure:
Good infrastructure: Several daycare centers within a few minutes, e.g. Hänsel + Gretel KiTa GmbH (2 min. walk, around the corner, so to speak).
Various schools in approx. 10-15 minutes by bike.
Shopping facilities, supermarkets and organic food stores are nearby. Medical care is also provided by the nearby Harlaching Clinic.
Overall, Harlaching offers a very good starting point for all kinds of leisure activities, including those in the surrounding area of Munich. Perlacher Forst in particular offers everything you need for activities close to nature in this already very green and quiet district.
