Location
The house is centrally and quietly located in the southern part of Weiche. You can take beautiful walks around the lake, watching ducks, seagulls and herons. There are several playgrounds in the area, and cycling tours are also possible in the vicinity.
The nearest bus stop is a minute's walk away, and within 10 minutes you can be in the city center, at the train station or in various shopping centers. The highway (A7) can be reached within 5 minutes.
A pharmacy, various childminders, kindergartens / schools (German + Danish) but also various doctors, a gas station or hairdressing salons are never more than a 5-minute walk away. Shopping facilities such as Rewe, Rossmann, Penny, ALDI and many more, bakeries and the post office can be reached on foot in 7 minutes - by car within a minute. So you never have to leave Weiche for your daily needs.
Flensburg is a beautiful fjord town with great old alleys, backyards and a beautiful harbor including a promenade. In summer, you can enjoy the Nordic flair in various restaurants along the waterfront. Flensburg has various beaches, some with dog beach sections. Everything is never more than a 10-minute drive from the house.
The Danish border can be reached by car in max. 10 minutes, a day trip to the island of Röm takes about 1 hour. There is an international airport in Billund (DK), which offers flights all over the world. Travel time approx. 1 hour. Just over the border there are various Danish shopping facilities, and everything is open on Sundays. In Kollund there is a beautiful beach with a view of the Ox Islands and Flensburg, driving time approx. 20 minutes.
