From an architectural point of view, Lindich Castle is one of the most outstanding hunting and pleasure palaces in southern Germany. The cavalier house on offer was converted from a stable into a residential house with modern comforts in 1991/2 and modernized in 2003. In 2024, a state-of-the-art gas condensing central heating system was installed, which includes its own 6400 l liquid gas tank. The additional modern, electronically controlled warm-air tiled stove with exposed fire provides the energy supply on various pillars and creates a cozy atmosphere.

The listed historical building of Lindich Castle has many stories to tell: Lindich Castle was the first residence of Napoleon's step-granddaughter and the last Princess of Hechingen, Eugenie. Stays by General "von Steuben", the piano virtuoso Franz Liszt, the composer Hector Berlioz and the King of Prussia are documented, as is the stay of the later Emperor Napoleon III of France in his younger years, when he still lived at Arenenberg Castle in Switzerland.
