Location
Bosau is a municipality on Lake Plön, whose beautiful and eponymous main town, where the property is located, borders directly on the lake. The village has restaurants, sailing clubs, a campsite, a hotel and a bus service to the surrounding towns such as Hutzfeld and Eutin. There are other leisure facilities nearby, such as campsites on the waterfront, a beautiful golf course and many kilometers of hiking trails through the beautiful landscape of Holstein Switzerland, with many paths leading directly along the water and an excellent cycling infrastructure. The nearest town is Plön, which can be reached by car in just over 10 minutes and where you will find all amenities and shopping facilities, as well as other restaurants and, of course, the Plön Castle, a landmark that can be seen from afar. The connection to the surrounding towns of Eutin, Preetz, Kiel and Lübeck is just as convenient by car as by train. Even the train station in Plön offers a great view of the lake.
